Irish Brown Oak Burl Coffee Table and Base

 

This piece of Burl came off a huge Brown Oak Burl that was growing on the Shane Castle in Northern Ireland. The Burl was FSC certified. It was so big, it had to be cut in half to get it into a container to ship it to my log yard. It has an oil finish and has some epoxy in some of the voids. It sits on a metal base.

 

Dimensions 2” thick x 56” long x33” wide x 18” high.
