AMERICAN SYCAMORE

There would be no Talarico Hardwoods if I had not seen some Qtrd Sycamore in an old Secretary desk drawer. I had to have some, just had to have some. Went on a mission to learn how to saw it and get that beautiful Lace wood figure out of it. Next thing you know, I had a Specialty Hardwood business and the rest is history. It’s been over 45 years now. With all the figure Quartered Sycamore has in one square inch, it’s the best bargain in figured lumber. It’s also very uncommon and it always makes a statement. I prefer the Rice figure but some love the big flake figure, It’s all good. Book Matching is the best way to use it where you can though.
