350 YEAR OLD SPESSART BROWN OAK
This is a very special, once in a lifetime brown oak log. The growth is so tight you can hardly count the rings. I quartered the log into 8/4 x 18′ long, book matched sets. These planks are up to 24″ wide, quartered. This is truly an amazing log. The age was certified at the Forestry University in Germany to be 350 years old. Imagine, it has been growing since 1667. Some of the lumber is mottled a rich brown, and some is a true Spessart light straw color. Just think of what you could do with this amazing old growth wood.
